The Rotary Organization & HWB : A Long History
Since its creation, Hospital Without Borders (HWB) has been working closely with Rotary clubs to meet medical needs in the most vulnerable regions of the world.
This partnership is built on a strong shared value: humanitarian commitment. Together, we combine our efforts to collect, prepare, and deliver second-hand medical equipment to hospitals and health centers in urgent need.
Today, our Board proudly includes members from all four Belgian Rotary districts, a testament to the strong and lasting bond between HWB and Rotary.

Financial Support
Because we could not accomplish our mission without support, many Belgian Rotary clubs and districts contribute to financing our actions through an annual membership system

Thanks to the commitment of Rotarians from the healthcare sector, we regularly receive medical equipment they no longer use – yet it makes a world of difference in the field.
volunteering
Among our volunteers, we are fortunate to count many Rotarians who dedicate their medical or logistical expertise to our organization. A small gesture with a big impact.
Project partnership
Some clubs or Rotarians prefer to get involved at the heart of the action by supporting and supervising a humanitarian project. Their presence on the ground ensures high-quality follow-up and a real local impact.
