Equipping the New Hospital in Kolwezi (DRC)

On February 27, our team loaded a container bound for Kolwezi. This city, located in the Lualaba province, lacked a fully equipped healthcare center.

The existing facilities did not allow for proper patient care. In the maternity ward, there was only one bed for every two new mothers and their babies. In response to this situation, the Bishop of Kolwezi decided to build a new hospital and called upon HWB for medical equipment. This project is making a significant difference for the city of Kolwezi, which has a population of no less than 572,942 inhabitants.
