New Shipment to TVC Medical (DRC)

On 22 April 2024, the HWF team loaded 7,500 kg of medical equipment for the hospital organisation TVC Medical in Kinshasa. The consignment included beds, equipment designed to improve comfort for inpatients, and electronic and vital-signs monitoring devices (blood pressure monitors, ultrasound scanners, ventilators, and more). This equipment will replace part of their ageing stock.

TVC Medical had already received donations from HWF in 2018. HWF is proud to support this remarkable hospital project, which is also the only facility in the region to offer cardiac surgery.

Like many hospitals in less developed areas, TVC Medical provides healthcare to those who cannot afford it, and in doing so upholds the right to health in their region. HWF campaigns for that right to be respected, and stands ready to help all those who wish to contribute to it.
